Interior Painting

Step 1 - Choosing Your Colours

Before we begin, it's essential to select your desired colours. If you wish to match an existing hue on your walls, you can provide us with an old paint can for reference, or we can get the colour matched if you can provide a sample. We're here to assist you in identifying the perfect colour, finish, and type of paint for your project.

Step 2 - Protect the Area

We cover the furniture and floors with a new, clean piece of protective plastic sheeting. We also protect your floors with drop cloths, taking care to secure every inch of the room.

Step 3 - Surface Preparation

We prepare the walls for interior painting by filling any holes or cracks in ceilings and walls, sealing any stains, and scuff sanding any uneven surfaces, including loose or old paint. This creates the smooth, clean canvas necessary for a beautiful finish.

Step 4 - Painting Process

Once any repaired areas from the previous step are primed, we meticulously apply top-quality paints to achieve a consistent finish. With a range of finish options such as flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss, we discuss the advantages of each with you beforehand, allowing you to make an informed choice. While the duration may vary based on the project's size, rest assured, we prioritize working swiftly and efficiently.

Step 5 - Clean Up

The paint will dry within a few hours, allowing you to remain in the house without interruption. Our team then clears away all painting materials and coverings, and cleans up any debris on floors and carpets. Every item is returned to its original position with care, ensuring a thorough cleanup of the work area.

Step 6 - Final Inspection

Following our internal evaluation, we will guide you through the space, allowing you to review our work and share any initial feedback. Additionally, you may receive a follow-up satisfaction survey to gauge how we met your expectations. With our paint jobs designed to last up to 7 years on well-maintained surfaces, you can look forward to enjoying your freshly painted room for years to come.

Exterior Painting

Step 1 - Surface Preparation

Before painting, it's crucial to prepare the exterior surfaces thoroughly. This involves cleaning the area to remove dirt, mold, and mildew, which can be achieved with a pressure washer if necessary. Additionally, cracks and holes should be filled, loose paint scraped away, and trim caulked if requested. These steps ensure a smooth and even surface for the new paint to adhere to, enhancing the longevity and quality of the paint job.

Step 2 - Protecting Surrounding Areas

We carefully shield any windows, doors, and surfaces not intended for painting using a combination of plastic sheeting, masking paper, and drop cloths. This ensures that these areas remain free from paint splatter and overspray during the painting process. Additionally, delicate landscaping features, outdoor furniture, and other items nearby should be covered to prevent accidental damage. Taking these precautions safeguards the integrity of your property and maintains a clean, professional finish on your exterior surfaces.

Step 3 - Painting Process

With precision and care, we embark on the painting process using a combination of brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers as needed. We apply the appropriate amount of high-quality paint to achieve a flawless finish. Whether it's intricate details requiring a brush or larger surface areas benefiting from a roller or sprayer, we adapt our techniques to ensure consistent coverage and smooth application. Each stroke is executed with attention to detail, ensuring your exterior surfaces are transformed with precision and expertise.

Step 4 - Clean Up

Once the painting is complete, we meticulously remove all masking materials, including plastic sheeting, masking paper, and drop cloths, from windows, doors, and other protected areas. This process is carried out with care to prevent any accidental damage to freshly painted surfaces. Additionally, we thoroughly clean up the work site, removing any paint drips, or debris that may have accumulated during the painting process. By leaving the area tidy and free from any remnants of our work, we ensure that your property is returned to its original condition, with only the vibrant, newly painted surfaces left behind as evidence of our craftsmanship.

Step 5: Final Inspection

After conducting our internal assessment, we'll walk you through the exterior space, providing an opportunity for you to inspect our work and offer any immediate feedback. Furthermore, you might receive a satisfaction survey later on to gauge the extent to which we've fulfilled your expectations. Given that our exterior paint applications are crafted to endure for 5 - 10 years depending on pre-existing condition, anticipate relishing in the rejuvenated appearance of your home's exterior for years to come.
